Turns out that there is actually a name for Pesto without the Pine Nuts. Pistou. Pesto is Italian, while Pistou is French. &nbsp; What I was making was just from another corner of the world. Just don&#8217;t tell anyone that I didn&#8217;t know this little piece of information until after I had made it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cookiesorbiscuits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Pesto.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-948\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cookiesorbiscuits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Pesto-444x680.jpg\" alt=\"Pistou - Pesto\" width=\"444\" height=\"680\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.cookiesorbiscuits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Pesto-444x680.jpg 444w, http:\/\/www.cookiesorbiscuits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Pesto-196x300.jpg 196w, http:\/\/www.cookiesorbiscuits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Pesto-600x917.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 444px) 100vw, 444px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pistou is really easy to make if you have a food processor or a blender. Just throw in the basil leaves, garlic and Parmesan cheese, blend, then slowly add the olive oil. I used mine in a Tortellini Salad &#8211; I&#8217;ll give you that recipe in the next few days. You could also try some on spaghetti or on a Lamb Pizza. Pulse until the leaves are well chopped.   Add the cheese and pulse a few more times.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">Turn on the food processor and add the olive oil in a constant stream.
