So far my favorite bread for this dessert is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0049ITVI6\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B0049ITVI6&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=cookorbisc-20\">Udi&#8217;s Gluten Free Whole Grain Bread<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=cookorbisc-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B0049ITVI6\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\">, as it absorbs the custard really well. I do use which ever gluten free bread is in my home at the time though &#8211; the bread in these photos is All But Gluten Sliced White Loaf. Lightly grease a baking dish.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">Butter the bread and cut in half.   For a slight variation, spread strawberry jam on the bread.    Layer the bread in the baking dish.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"2\">Mix the sugar, cinnamon, milk, eggs and vanilla together, and whisk lightly.    Add the golden raisins.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"3\">Pour the liquid over the bread and allow it to soak for 10 minutes.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"4\">Bake the pudding in the oven for 45 minutes.
